That sounds like the list of approved ammo for the instructor's course in Austin. They want you to use ammo that meets SAAMI specifications. As far as I know, there is no formal restriction regarding ammo used by students. Funny thing is I was buying .380, its not like there was a selection to sell me on something. The WWB was the first .380 they had seen in months. Of course I was going to buy it.
I ended up qualifying with crap monarch 9 in my CZ, and hit 249/250. Our CHL instructor had a policy against .380, but emphacized it was only his oppinion, because there's too many pocket .380s that are difficult to shoot, and they had 30 loaner glocks for free.
