Just a follow up note to yesterday's post... received my renewal license in today's mail. 54 business days start to finish.

Following up on yesterday's post... I received my renewed license today.
Original package sent to Austin 8/4/09 via Certified Mail. 75 days, start to finish. 56 "business days", and there was Labor Day and Columbus day in there as well, so that makes 54 business days.

Securing my first CHL in Florida took about 45-60 days. My renewal took about three weeks! My first CHL in Texas took about 60 days (four years ago), and I'm still waiting for the renewal license! :mad5 I submitted a complete package to TX on 8/4/09... and TODAY, the website reads "Application ...
