The thing that eats at me is the question whether any officers in the raids felt they were doing something wrong? I know if I was instructed to take part in this travesty, I would, but as soon as we got back to the station I would submit my resignation, effectively immediately, with no reason given.
Is there any way to accurately find out how the rank and file feel about these operations?
The people who are responsible for these actions should be held responsible for criminal acts.
A question to those more qualified than myself to answer: Is the charge “Official Oppression” only used for those instances where officers coerce women to engage in sex acts?
