With no disincentive to file oppressive bills like this, the battle will never end.


If bills would be introduced each time that would do just the opposite including defunding “gun violence prevention” programs, it would probably stop or reduce these bills.


TAM, I am sure you know these tactics are not new. The government followed the same script against smoking.

If you can’t outlaw something, regulate it out of existence.
If you can’t regulate it out of existence, litigate it out of existence.
If you can’t litigate it out of existence, tax it out of existence.

Taxes are not being used as intended to provide money for the operation of the government. Taxes are now being used to control the population. This type of taxation should be illegal, period.

Someone should introduce a bill that would lower the taxes on guns & ammo.

Every time some idiot introduces legislation like this, another bill should be introduced that would do just the opposite.

That might stop some of this.
