Generally, I don't like alternating ammo. Pick one, stick with it. Speer Gold Dot, 130 grain, or Corbon DPX, are a couple good loads for 38.

If you don't like the trigger pull or you want to bob the hammer, why not just go buy a s&w 442 or 642 and be done with it. Just a thought, if you are not willing to go with something bigger and or tote the glock.
