- With a IDL (cheap, easy) a Texas DL is good all over Europe and in many other countries.

- A 21 year old can get a Texas DL if they pay $25 and pass the tests. No mandatory class.
- If someone from another state moves to Texas, they can get a valid temporary Texas DL when they turn in their out-of-state license and pay $25 for a 6 year license.
