I use a Dickies leather belt at work, and all it has to hold up is a radio in its holster. It's a nice belt, and I got it for work thinking that it would be a good trial run to see how it would work as a gun belt. (It may bot be the same one Joe is thinking of.)

Anyway, the telling part of this story is that the Dickies belt only holds up my work pants. For carry, I have and love a crossbreed. The fit and finish of the belt is great, and it's clearly some quality leather. The buckle is sturdy and removable, so I can put my own on there if I want. And one last tell of quality I'll share: the buckle is held on with Chicago screws, not button snaps. Maybe a small thing to a lot of folks, but it means something to me.
