Re: Lubbock CHL Instructors - Any recommendations?

OK - One more question - I'm sure applying online speeds up the process . . .

Is it better to apply online to DPS before the class or after or does it matter?

NEB wrote:I took the class several weeks ago from Mike (troglodyte). His website is http://www.talonchl.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. He has usually monthly classes, though I don't think anything will be happening in December with the holidays. It's a one-day course that lasts 11-12 hours. He doesn't include ammo, fingerprints, or photos, but his course is only $65 for class and qualifying. It was a good course, and I did my passport photos at Walgreens and my FAST digital fingerprints through L-1 for $10. Not bad for a shade under $85 + state fees.

Pardon my ignorance but could you give me some more details regarding what "L-1" is?

Lubbock CHL Instructors - Any recommendations?

I was looking at the DPS list of instructors in the Lubbock County area. Pretty simple, plain, straight-forward list; not much info otherwise.

Anybody have any recommendations for instructors & classes?

THANKS IN ADVANCE
