Re: Video: Pregnant Houston woman kills burglar w/ 20 gauge
Ok, first, I read online that Malcolm X rid himself of his last name because "'X' symbolized the true African family name that he never could know. For me, my 'X' replaced the white slavemaster name of 'Little' which some blue-eyed devil named Little had imposed upon my paternal forebears."...

Re: Wanted to say hello to everyone
Wow. I can't believe someone was so rude and hateful!! And to take killing someone so lightly is despicable. But I must admit that before I joined the forum and started reading it daily, I was afraid that those would be the same ideas here---If you were anything except a far right wing, ultra conser...

Any suggestions for a daily carry???
I am looking for a small 9mm to carry once I get my CHL. I own a 9mm XD subcompact and LOVE it at the range but it is too heavy and bulky for me to wear on my person (concealed) comfortably. I want something that is thin and light enough to wear in a holster inside my pants or even one that comes wi...

Re: Neutrality is over for Hammer
I don't go to church, but my fiance did tell me he thought the laws about carrying in church was changed, but wasn't 100% sure. I have heard conflicting things about this. And good thing that guy was taking out the trash. What if he hadn't been there?????? AND he was the ONLY one (as far as I know)...

Re: Introduce yourself
I took my class in Texas City at Elite Sound & Security. Its a family owned gun store and the wife taught our class. It was really enjoyable and they seem like good people. We have done business there before.

Re: Neutrality is over for Hammer
That was a really great post Hammer. Well said and sincere. I read the entire thing (and it WAS long!) but understood and empathized with everything you said. I have never (thank God) been in a situation like those listed or known anyone who has (that I know of), but I am somewhat paranoid that my t...

Re: What's the Origin of Your User Name?
It is a BLAST and much safer than a four wheeler when there is a passenger riding. Since my fiance has two small boys, we chose safety as our number one criterion but the Teryx is no granny golf cart. That thing will book, we take it all over our land in Livingston and it is a champ.
