I have to agree, but guess I consider the No4Mk2 and the No5 just an evolution of the No4MkI.

Have to confess my collection is relatively small at the moment, but have a No4Mk1*, and No4Mk2, and a No5. Those are the three rifles I think make up my "minimum" collection, and they are my three favorites culled from about a dozen Enfields that have passed through my hands over the years.

As a lover of old rifles I am of the mindset that we don't actually "own" these historical guns, we simply are caretakers for the next generation....

Hello!

Just found this place, but planning to spend more time here.

Mid-30's male, with wife and two young daughters. Lived in Houston for 5 years now, and just completed my first CHL renewal, so almost 4 years carrying.

I am a manager for a HR consulting/administration firm. Because I work in a professional office I carry a Sig 232 tucked (in a Comp-Tac shirt tucker) during the week. On the weekends I alternate between the Sig, a Springfield GI 1911 (slightly modified) or a HK USP 9F, just depending on what I'm up to and my mood....

Lately I'm more of a rifle shooter than a pistol shooter, and am really into C&R's and AR's (I know, odd combination....) BTW, if you're into C&R's too, check out the link in my signature for a community of collectors with a philosophy much like that of this site.

Screen name derives from the fact that my favorite gun of all time is the No4Mk1 Lee Enfield, and my "real" name is Lee.

Glad to be on board!
