I didn't realize how fortunate I was to receive plastic in only 91 days. Although I've carried numerous times since, I finally took my "Wally Walk" this past Sunday. That was enjoyable.

Missed it by a day. It arrived here today (Friday 7/10/09) via snail mail. 91 days since I sent the packet in.

Curious.....once you finally get the "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active" message, how long before i can expect the license in the mail?

My sentiments exactly. I'm checking all the time now. Still 'processing application'. You'd think an app from a smaller county would move a little faster, but it's anyone's guess at this point.

I paid the license fee online and took the CHL class in March. I received and mailed the packet to Austin on April 10. It took them exactly 6 weeks to change my status from "packet mailed to applicant" to "processing application" on the website. I'm in limbo now, wondering if the license will be on the way, or if one of many possible glitches will develop. Glad to have found this forum. Misery does indeed love company.
