DPS does not email notifications. You'll have to check the website. As much as you want too! 2 weeks after they received my packet, I was routinely checking 3, 4, up to 6 times daily. Just something to do, don't you know.

Actually yes it is. It will continue saying that until they enter your application into the system. Their online status has very few messages that they can choose from, and "received" isn't one of them.

The next message you get should be "Processing Application".
