+1 on that. I've also seen parents eyes in the ER when their 2y old shows them how they opened that child proof medicine bottle. They'll be able to do it way before you know it. An old friend of mine used to not keep a round in the chamber of his nightstand gun. He said it was so that if anyone ever broke into his home that he thought the sound of him racking the slide might give the BG the chance to change his mind and run away. I told him that's why I locked my doors. The locked door was going to be that guy's last warning. He has since gotten his CHL and also carries with a round in the chamber.
