What other brands to they have? That's what I usually see there. They do have a few other types of self defense hollow point loads, but for practice I'll go for the Federal first and then the WWB if I have to because it's more expensive.Nano wrote:OK, I finally tracked down 9mm ammo at Walmart on the app. Here is how to do it: Shop by Department, Sports Fitness and Outdoors, Hunting, Guns Rifles and Ammunition. I scrolled way down and found a total of 4 9mm items to add to the list. From the list I was able to determine the price and availability from about 8 stores in the area. Unfortunately I'm not particularly fond of Federal and Winchester. At least I know how it works. I think I'll search for some more similar apps.

Re: Walmart app?
I have also and there are some new things that I've found that were not in my list because I didn't update my list after a new search. I found several boxes of .45ACP Brass Max a couple days ago. I had never heard of it and it looked okay, so I got some and will try it out. It was just under $16/50 rounds.
I've also started seeing a bunch of the TulAmmo, with steel cases in several different calibers including .223 for you AK folks.

Re: Walmart app?
I search the site for "ammunition" and then search through everything and add what I'm looking for to my list. Then I can check each item's availability. When I do that it will tell me whether or not the stores around me (Within about 15 miles depending on the density of WalMarts in the area.) and whether it is out of stock, limited stock, or in stock and which store. I can check other areas by putting in a different city or zip code.
I keep all these things in my list and when I go into a WalMart it will update the prices for that store and their location in the store. The list is really designed to be used like a grocery list where one would check off the items as they put them in the basket. It just helps from having to search for them every time I want to check their availability.

Re: Walmart app?
That would be interesting. My BIL has a droid. I have an iPhone and the Walmart app and I don't know how to get alerts. I can check each product's availability, but alerts? IDK
