That's what I figured they would be swabbing for, but didn't know how they would differentiate the gun powder from anything else by just swabbing. Thanks.jmorris wrote:The swab is for explosives, which smells different to the machine than gunpowder. The counter person saw the firearm(s) but didn't actually search the case.C-dub wrote:I'm curious about this. What exactly are they swabbing for that they would need to open the case? Depending on how your rifles are set up, try the Pelican 1750.urnoodle wrote:If you don't mind me asking, what kind of case do you use? I may have to fly home on a short notice for a family members surgical procedure. I've been looking for a case that would hold about the same what you took with you (except swap the glocks for 1911s ). I've been looking at pelican cases but I haven't seen one that looks like it can carry 2 rifles and 2 handguns. I'm not a very strong woman so I'm looking for something with wheels.steveincowtown wrote:Headed home for Christmas today so I brought an Scoped AR, a Scoped 10/22, and two Glocks; all in one case.

Sorry that happened. I hope everything was undamaged. And I hope that the supervisor will honor his word.
