The police cannot tell someone that they cannot carry on my property. That is for me to decide. If they do have power of attorney then they would be acting as a representative and I believe proper notice would have been given. I wouldn't push the issue, but I still wonder if they do not have power of attorney if this is proper notice.boomerang wrote:If you think receiving trespass notice from a peace officer doesn't count, good luck in court.

Is the police telling me I'm not allowed to go someplace that isn't posted really proper notice? I thought it had to be the owner or a representative of the business. I understand and agree that it would be foolish to return to the theater until everything is resolved, but has he really been given proper notice?
