Other than that there are no exceptions. For security reasons, please do not respond to this email. Should yo...

Military renewal question

I am currently stationed overseas and won't make it home in time enough to renew my Texas CHL. I haven't received the renewal notification/package as of yet, but it should be on its way. I will only have 2 months before my Tx CHL expires by the time I get home. I understand submitting the renewal wi...

Of course once we get home, a Texas CHL will be a priority on her list of things to do. Kentucky is awesome and Louisville is a wonderful city. Handgun l...

Re: Texas Raised, moved to Kentucky and now...

FireforEffectK: Welcome to the forum! Tell us about how KY does it as far as CHL type stuff, if you find any quirky rules. What gun(s) do you own and and what do you carry? If you shoot a Beretta M9 for "work", do you like it? SIA Thanks, sorry it took so long to reply. I carry a Glock 19...

Re: Texas Raised, moved to Kentucky and now...

today my Kentucky driver's license. :grumble Got the license so I wouldn't have to go to a CCDW (Carry Concealed Deadly Weapon) class. Can you explain that? Do non-residents need a CCDW class but residents with a Kentucky DL don't? Non-residents don't need the CCDW class. But in order for my Texas ...

Moving to Kentucky, unfortunately

Unfortunately, I will be moving to Kentucky. I have a Texas CHL but because I will become a resident of Kentucky for a couple of years, how long will my Texas CHL be valid before I will have to apply for a Kentucky CCDW license? Any suggestions?
