Re: Use Of Sight Shooting In Close Quarters Gunfights
Nice title on that link. The square range is a good starting point but I like FOF for evaluating techniques and tactics.

Re: WI: Teen defendant threatens alleged victim again
Based on the new allegations, I hope they upgrade the original charge to attempted murder as an adult. As we all know, the real solution to gang violence is for good people to band together and wipe out the gangs but society no longer has the political will or intestinal fortitude to deal with thugs...

Go to http://www.gunfacts.info/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for a jumping off point for statistics on firearm accidents vs. other kinds. Auto accidents are my personal favorite point of comparison. Falling, drowning and poisoning are also much more dangerous than firear...

Re: Recruitment Shooting Suspect Says It Was Retaliation
Muslim extremists killing American soldiers is not new news. It was only a matter of time before they decided to fight us over here so they wouldn't have to fight us over there. Especially with the new POTUS.

Carry a Glock. You don't even need the special spring cups unless you shoot under water.

Re: back to work, back to not carrying
After a 3.5-month period of "funemployment", I find myself now at a new job with an even more aggressive no-weapons policy than my last employer. Anyone know of any high-tech company in Austin that does not have a no-guns, we-will-search-your-car, you-will-be-fired-on-the-spot no-guns pol...

She'd a complained if she was hung with a new rope. I'll bet she would have chosen getting tased if she knew the alternative was the old wooden shampoo. She was resisting arrest in the video I saw. Law enforcement can't win. If the deputy constable beat the tar out of her some people would be sayin...

Re: Good pistols made in USA???
If you should decide on a 1911 style handgun, you should consider STI in your top choices. They are very well made with everything from a very nice entry level handgun (The Spartan) to tricked out beauties. They also come in a varieties of sizes to fit your shooting and carry needs. The best part i...

Re: Boating
Good question,....... But if a Cruiser with cabin is OK, what about a Cuddy Cabin, what about a canoe with an ice chest, what about a tackle box in any of those? The point I am trying to make here is how far do we go with this? It clearly states that firearms are not allowed. No exceptions mentione...

Re: Question About Teaching at Ranges
Show them how you can make them money. Ranges are businesses. If they're teaching classes in house they probably don't want the competition. If it's an independent instructor then they might like having another instructor teaching there and bringing in more money for them.

Re: Not a Good LEO Encounter
I would let them steal the guns in exchange for dropping the charges. Like the mugger who is holding a knife to your throat. Or the kidnapper holding your child for ransom.
