They teach typing, not editing.
They teach literature, not grammar.
They teach whatever is currently politically correct, not debate.
They teach report-writing, not logic.
They teach citizenship, not patriotism.
They teach how to regurgitate, not how to think.
A few grammatical and spelling mistakes I can handle. No one's perfect, we're not all English majors or professional editors.

Besides, just use Firefox, it underlines it in red if it thinks you spelled it wrong, and will automatically give you correction suggestions!
