Accuracy is fairly good for a 3.5" barrell though I have some problem focusing on the sights. I was also shooting low until I got used to the different angle of the grip from my Glocks.
As a carry piece it conceals well though it is a lot heavier then I am used to. Has a few sharp edges that need to be rounded off as well.
It is interesting that the 45 ACP cartridge was developed because of problems in the Philippines: After we took over control from the Spanish natives would attack US forces with bolo knives; the .38 caliber round we were then using would not stop the subject before they could do damage with the bolo.

Wow, I was originally from the Philippines and I know what you just mentioned re: the 1911... Never had the guts to tell that story though, people might tell me my nose is getting longer or leave their leg alone!!LOL!!!
