Much appreciated. My only concern now is how to recognize at the hotel a sign that says anything. I looked up the code on Arkansas. Just said a sigh posted and can be read at 10 feet saying no concealed guns. Staying at the Holiday Inn in Springdale.

Much appreciated and yes I noted the declare to officer notes which I do anyway here. As for private home, not planning on going in his house, just look over what I am buying and go from there. Hotel room that night and drive back home. Did not see what a hotel or business posting that is like our 30.06 sign though.

TAM, thanks a bunch. I am tied up in heavy meeting for work and after work and leave in two days and needed a pointer to the right site to answer my question. Looked up different sites but the searching was taking too long. this one was PERFECT!. Seems I am good to go on my person, getting out to grab a meal, my motel etc and back home. Just what I needed.

I am getting ready to take a quick trip through Oklahoma and Arkansas and back. I know they honor our CHL. Any particular real disfferences in how I carry in car, hotel room or person? I have not read all of each states laws yet. Just making a one day trip up and next day back to pick up a motorcycle. thanks.
