My thoughts exactly. What if an off duty LEO had been inside at the time? Things could have gone bad really quick. Looks like a violation of 42.01 of the Texas Penal code, specifically Section 8:
"(8) displays a firearm or other deadly weapon in a public place in a manner calculated to alarm;"
