I like the look of the fanny pack above better, but thought I'd mention this as well ...

There are a bunch of different sizes, but nothing I can find large enough for a full-frame pistol. Something akin to a pocket gun would fit in some of these.

Anyway, I got mine at Academy. Use it to hold cell phone, credit cards etc while boating. And it does work very well - I slipped while straddling boat and dock when a big wake hit a few weeks ago and went head first into the water. But everything inside my little dry pack was safe and dry. They also open quickly and easily with little thumb knobs (90-degree turn to open) that create an air tight seal - much better than the rolled up velcro design of other similar bags.

Of course, before getting one of these, I always used the old tried and true ZipLoc freezer bag - gallon size would hold most any hand gun. Of course, where to hide it then?
