If that was you, then I passed you while you were standing by the Cotton Bowl near a set of steps. I was wearing a green shirt, khaki pants and my IDPA hat that has the logo with a gun prominently on the front. I nodded to you as I passed. There wasn't anyone else around you at the time.

If either of you saw a fit young man, wearing a loose fitting guayabera shirt, cargo shorts with a something bulging in the left front pocket a bit (maybe a revolver?), flip-flop sandals, and a beach-comber hat.....

....that wasn't me.

I've met TAM. That wasn't himself he was describing. But then, it wasn't me either! I'm not fit...or young!

Wednesday, 09/29, approx. 12:30 p.m., Gate 11 near the Chevy display on the south side of the stadium.

We were at the Fair on Sunday, October 3 around noon. We came on the DART Train, which ever gate that is.

Mrs. mikeintexas and I took the 3 grandsons to the State Fair yesterday. Other than the long line to buy tickets, everything went very smoothly. We rode the DART train and that was smooth, also. There wasn't an officer at the stand when we passed the wander and both showed CHL and DL. She glanced at the empty PD stand and said to go ahead, she verified us and that there was no officer to check anyway.
Other than following 3 boys under 10 years old around Fair Park for 6 hours, it was a pretty painless day. Especially after I got home and got some Advil!
OTOH, I wouldn't have missed it for the world!
