Arrested and put in shackles in front of his family for entering the Capitol to find a restroom with his 73 year old dad. Dad a vet arrested too. Door he entered was held open by Capitol police. Asked where the bathroom was and he was given directions. Violence he saw later in on TV was over by the time he reached the Capitol. Found guilty by a biased Washington DC jury who all work for the government and hate Trump.

If the door is held open for you by those in a supposed position of authority (owner, police, security, etc).... How is that trespass?...

To me that suggests Pelosi is the one who organized the event at the capitol.

I’ve been seeing photos of the Capitol doors. They have magnetic locks, easy to unlock from the inside, impossible to open from the outside.

So the question is how do you convict someone for trespassing if they walked through an open door (like the majority of these folks did), and did not pass any signage or any security telling them that they could not go into a building? Especially when it is widely known that parts of alot of government buildings in DC are open to the public.

This may be why there is a rush to settle these cases for a slap on the wrist.
