Re: Proposal to ban high-cap mags with NO GRANDFATHERING

and since when do economist think they know gun control?

since i stepped in it and was taken out of context....i will let my other feeling lay in rest.

i was simply trying, without to much clarity on my part...meant to bring up
what one has already approached about supply demand
an economist that wants to stop production of an item, when demand is there is not being smart minded.
or producing a item with no demands leads to collapse.

I think that if its a turn in your magazine or we will come to your house and take it. one at at time will not be a problem for the law official

just like the missing of one person could go unnoticed for a long time

are police going to uphold a law they may not believe in? most would probably do just that....they are not in the business to believe in a law...only enforce it.

if soldiers are turned on us...then that to would be a hard ticket for many uniformed persons to uphold, but most would, or risk themselves under penalty of law

then we would only have to look back into our own history to see what would happen next, maybe slowly at first but it would build to be a very different world.

where would the lines be drawn?
i did not infere i was against more than one bullet mags.
i know for one more is better.
and i also know that not having to stop a threat in my home or elsewhere in recent history would probably cause me to empty a magazine into a threat without really giving it much thought at the time, as I am sure the fight or flight would have kicked in.

my xd like many others, can empty 17 rounds in a jiffy, never mind a nervous finger

Re: Proposal to ban high-cap mags with NO GRANDFATHERING

you what is so preposterous ? it only takes ONE bullet to kill, so why not just make all guns only shoot one bullet :nono:

so my magazine that holds 16 for my xd is just there for balance.

one day soon I hope the powers that be will mandate that every legal citizen has to be armed and proficient.
then the bad guys/girls might be inclined to leave for easier hunting grounds.

and since when do economist think they know gun control?
