Some time ago I had read that Japanese vehicles were very easy to open up
by thieves. Reason: Japan doesn't have the level of car burglaries that the USA does,
so Japanese carmakers didn't make sufficiently tough car door locks/ignition locks.

By any chance, do you have an NRA sticker on your vehicle?
Or any other kind of bumper sticker or decal that would indicate gun ownership?
The LEO pointed out that 3 vehicles had been hit, and all had firearms in them.
