I got home from work today and the SO told me that I had some mail that he picked up for me. Nothing weird yet. He hands me my mail piece by piece. A magazine (TSRA), my TXU refund, my graduation present (Gadsden Flag shirt), then says I got a letter from the state of Texas......OMG! That envelope was torn into pieces in no time!



I got mine! I got mine! I got mine! Went and did Whole Foods Store walk instead of a Wally Walk. Life in fine again.

Got online this morning to check my status like I usually do and it finally changed to "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active"

106 days to process. Just waiting for the plastic to come in!!

05/15/09 -- Mailed proof of citizenship
XX/XX/09 -- Application Complete
XX/XX/09 -- Plastic in hand!

Me and you are in the same boat. Maybe we will both get ours at the same time, and sometime soon!!

I am at day 96 and still waiting.

Does anyone know how long it takes to do the background check in Dallas county? I am waiting for the background check to be complete.

just place your cursor where you want the smile, then click on the smile icon you want. if you want to see what it looks like ,go down and click preview
also , make sure the smiles option is not turned off. located bottom left under options. on mine, the only thing checked is (attach a signature)

HeHe..been on arfcom too much! I drag and drop on there and that is what I was doing here. Thanks!!

I called yesterday to check my status and the lady let me know that they sent me a letter yesterday letting me know that my picture is no bueno. I checked the status online today and it says "Application incomplete - missing information - detailed letter has been sent."

When I talked to the lady about a week ago she said that they are running right at 60 days, so to all of you that are waiting, that is great news for you! Lets just hope that I can get my picture right this time!!

Ok, they received my new pictures on May 21 and this morning they changed my status back to "Processing Application"!!

i wonder..what was wrong with your picture,i'm sure you looked at them before mailing. did they look dark or grainy to you ?

It looked fine to me. *shrug*

I sent the new pictures off to them on Tuesday and I got the email confirmation of delivery a few minutes ago. So I am back on the waiting list!
