Receipt for what? I can't imagine that Louisiana law assumes that it has jurisdiction over the issuance of Texas CHLs.
I think he is referring to a receipt for his weapon, not his CHL.

I know Florida requires the CCW be in the glove box.
I don't think that is right. That only applies if you don't have a CHL.
