That was not the vote taken last night. As it says right there on the page: "H R 3962 RECORDED VOTE 7-Nov-2009 11:16 PM"

I agree that they didn't need his vote, but I would like to know if a Rep. passes away and his spot isn't filled yet, is there a proxy vote cast on his behalf? If it turns out that the answer is no, why was a vote counted? This makes me think there are more shenanigans going on in this vote than meets the eye! :shock:

Okay...someone tell me if I'm off-base on this one:

Didn't John Murtha pass away in Feb. of this year? If so, why does his name appear in the "AYES" section of the vote results at the following website?
