Was on vacation in Colorado and got this really bull speeding ticket (little towns are hurtin for coin, so stick it to the Texans ) and didn't show the CHL. That having to show the license thing only applies here in Texas, am I correct?

I have a Kahr MK9 and Glock36 for CCW. Both are excellent pieces, and getting harder to find everyday....

The "LEO ONLY" ammo is a marketing gimmick by the ammo manufacture, and usually by agreement from some stores that won't sell it.

I believe I heard or read somewhere that in Texas it is legal to carry a loaded gun in the console of a car without a CHL, is this fact or myth?

It purely comes down to personal preference. I have a freind with a PM9 who swears by it, but I just preferred the feel of the slightly heavier MK9, which, except for materials, is identical. Both are top notch concealed carry weapons (and about the same price). The CW9 is the budget line, and IMHO ...

I'm interested in why you want the PM9 and not the MK9 (which I have). I've read some not so flattering reviews of the poly Kahrs, but the alloy versions are solid as a rock, I love mine.

I'm new to Texas CHL and have questions about how TX CHL laws address civil lawsuits by the perp or perp's family. If I am found to have legally followed all guidelines and laws under TX CHL, how open am I to being sued. What is my recourse? I bring this up because freinds with CW in other states ar...
