I agree with you, any decent handgun will last for years.

Like I said earlier I've had good experience with Taurus revolvers. They shoot well, and are a great value for the money. I've heard Rossi revolvers are good too.

I have two Taurus revolvers and they have worked great for me.

One in .357 Magnum (Taurus Tracker 627) and the Taurus 44 in 44 Magnum.

Great "truck guns" or backup guns when hunting or fishing.
