I'm not really a cat-shooter either, Tex James. I was just sayin', that if you're going to shoot a cat-sized critter, there's a more legal way to do so than making your own suppressor. I'd probably go the trapping route. I have been known to shoot possums that have been eating the dog food, though. There's nothing nastier looking than a 30-lb possum hissing at you.texjames wrote:I have a Gamo Whisper also.I would never shoot any cats.We have 4 cats two are inside and two outside. They are much
loved members of the family.I have had to trap and turn in strays that multiplyed in our neighbors garage when it was vacant for several years.
Turned them over to Animal Contriol. They would come over and hang out at our place. All our cats are spayed and netured.
Get regular Vet visits etc.
I've been tempted to get a Gamo Whisper just for fun. The only thing we get in our backyard are songbirds and Turkish geckos (Hemidactylus turcicus), and I certainly don't want to kill them, but it'd be fun to have one of the Gamo Whisper's just in case there's a sudden invasion of zombie squirrels or something.
