LOL...I made a similar statement a few weeks ago, before I bought my Kimber. I posted on this forum, asking for advice, and I also talked to a couple of my fellow firearm-enthusiast friends. One buddy in particular, kept bringing up the shortcomings of the 1911 in general for concealed carry (too big, too heavy, etc.).
