Interesting posting of 51% sign

I was at Sam Houston Raceway Park - the horse track today for a trade show and and education class. On the second floor of the main building where all the locations to place bets are, posted at the entrance to the restrooms, is a bunch of TABC signs. There is a alcohol is dangerous for pregnant wome...

Re: In many US airports, guns are OK outside security

So, with the following statement: The state's other major airport has a strict no-guns ordinance. "It's posted everywhere," said Marlene McClinton of Houston-George Bush Intercontinental Airport. "But this is Texas," she said, explaining that the airport has cited some visitors f...

Re: Disarmed

And I don't carry one in my car. I drive a convertible sports car that I do not lock. The top can just be cut and entry effected. My insurance cards have names and my address on them and I just do not want that kind of information stolen.

Re: Disarmed

KD5NRH, good reasoning I (fortunately) drive a Miata and getting a wallet out of my rear pocket is a challenge at times. My DL and CHL are in the card holders in the wallet but the insurance card is down inside. I like your concept and might work on that. I feel that if I am not digging around down ...

Re: Disarmed

IT has been said that you should have your license out when the officer gets to your window. I carry on my right hip IWB under my shirt. My intention is to lower the window and put my hands on the steering wheel. When the office approaches, I will tell him i have a CHL, it is in my wallet in my righ...

Re: Interesting Conversation at the IRS Office

Since mentioned by Mr Surveyor, I was at the Post Office near Willowbrook today. There are NO statute signs posted on the exterior door to the lobby or on the inside walls or door to the counter area. The only sign was one defining the penalty for fobbing a PO employee. If I remember correctly, ther...

It appears that the new Santikos Silverado Theater is now operational on Hwy 249. Has anyone gone there yet?

Re: ALERT: AMC Theaters have posted 30.06

Has anyone asked to look at the liquor license for the Movie Tavern? If I remember form this board, there is red or black printing specifying if it is a 51% location.

I understand that the Bowie Knife is listed as an illegal knife. I do not understand why. What about the CAS participants? They attempt to be realistic in most all they do and a Bowie is about as authentic for that era as anything. A.G. Russell has a beautiful Bowie that I would love to own. It is a...

Thanks folks. I agree with your thoughts. Since I had no other guidance this morning, I went with her. I do not think this will be normal activity for her but I have to be concerned in this day and age. This location is in Champions in NW Houston - a really nice neighborhood but even so, one cannot ...

I was at Chili's in Abilene on Thursday night. The sign posted was the one provided in the TABC sign package. It is the same sign that goes up at any non-51% bar.
I believe that it is required to be posted by the TABC

Columbia does not own those hospitals. They are privately owned at this time.
My son made a little money when they bought out his stock.
