To the person that doesnt like solicitors, we have had some success with putting up a no solicitor sign. My wife and I fought about that, but everytime I sat down for dinner, the doorbell would ring and my wife would not answer the door ...
I came up with a solution that works for me.
I removed the hard wired door bell button and replaced it with a wireless bell and button.
When I am expecting someone, I put the button out. I have it on velcro for easy removal.
Or, as is most often the case, I don't have the button out at all.
I enjoy watching solicitors try to find the button.
I must be bored.
