Re: Urban Brick Pizza Co,
Slightly off topic but there's a business I've been trying to lookup and it doesn't have anything listed under gun sign. Anybody know why that would be? License #: G 937952 Trade Name: THE TRIPLE D Owner: TRIPLE D LLC Location Address: 519 W MAIN BROWNFIELD , TX 79316 Mailing Address: PO BOX 1392 BR...

Re: TSA Incident (or non-incident). What would you do?
Got pulled out of line because of a small jar of change. Was told I needed to leave my change at home. One of my pet peeves with TSA. Good officer response: "You didn't do anything wrong, it's just we can't see through this much change so we have to check your bag. In the future if you leave y...

Re: TSA Incident (or non-incident). What would you do?
Having worked for TSA for many years in the past, the worst thing you could do is return to TSA to reveal your mistake. Putting it in your vehicle was a good call given you had the time. If not, continue to your destination and either dispose of it there or check it for your return flight. I would a...

Re: County Clerk Offices
Good and wise advice from all. Pretty much my current take on it. I do wish the law not only prohibited posting 30.06 in non-eligible government locations, but also required posting of some sort in all off-limits locations to clarify which were "offices utilized by the court"

County Clerk Offices
I have recently read the Attorney General's responses to the 30.06 complaints posted on their website. The one thing that stuck out to me is his statement that county clerks are non-judicial administrative offices that aren't able to be prohibited from carry by the county. This could be huge for me ...

I had to go back and reread the OP statement to see where he said he chased anyone and still dont see it but yet here he is being chastised for something he didnt do, really folks read the OP statement before posting comments chastising him. This is a great forum but far to many hyper critical ppl....

Re: Potter County bans guns in all county owned buildings
Potter County has a long standing history of a tyrannical, good 'ol boy network running the County. This attitude runs across virtually every elected and appointed official in the County and is largely backed up by city officials causing change to be extremely difficult. Most of this debate and deci...

Since hospitals have to be posted to be off limits, there is no practical difference between the two.stash wrote:Could someone explain the difference between a hospital licensed under Chapter 241, health & safety code and hospital not licensed under Chapter 241?

Re: "Printing" under 30.06
Short answer is nothing changed in regard to CC if you are inside a 30.07 posted location.
Somebody will be along shortly with the long answer about printing not being in the penal code and the exact wording I'm sure.

Re: Effective notice via electronic sign in?
My understanding is that there is only 2 ways to be given legal effective notice. Obviously the first is the signage at the exterior entry door of building, and the second being verbal notice once you've entered. So what happens if someone that's CCing enters the building and for whatever reason th...

Re: Saw a "first" today...
I think what The Wall is trying to convey is that the business has clearly stated they are not supporters of the second amendment, thus The Wall will not patronize such business regardless of sign compliance. Possibly, but what he said is that it's "the same". Legally a notice such as thi...

Re: Correct "Spanish" wording?
Given the lack of exact verbiage in the penal code for the Spanish text I would never risk the legality of a sign on the wording of the Spanish text.
