When the subject of "printing" comes up people post this:
Why? That's in the GC and not part of the Penal Code, it is a definition for a term that is not used in the Penal Code.GC411.171 “Concealed handgun” means a handgun, the presence of which is not openly discernible to the ordinary observation of a reasonable person.
The actual criminal law says:
There is no gun visible in the pictures, so why does anyone care? Bulges, lumps, even bulges and lumps that are obviously a gun mean nothing. Why does this continue to be a "thing"?Sec. 46.035. UNLAWFUL CARRYING OF HANDGUN BY LICENSE HOLDER. (a) A license holder commits an offense if the license holder carries a handgun on or about the license holder's person under the authority of Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code, and intentionally displays the handgun in plain view of another person in a public place.

Re: Blatant Printing: would you say something?
Late to the party, but here are some thoughts:
- if the pics had been posted in the OP, this thread would have been a lot shorter.
- I have a friend that wears an insulin pump that looks just like that when he he wearing that type shirt.
- if you can't tell if it is a jframe, a Glock, or a Kimber he is perfectly fine.
- "an ordinary person" wouldn't have the first thought about this being a gun.
- the vast majority of people in Texas (and outside Texas) falsely assume that the average joe can carry anywhere and anyway he wants in Texas. After all, it's Texas.
- the best way for one to get his nose bent is to stick it where it does not belong.
