DPS Approved ranges? Anyone have the list?
Hey guys, Im looking for the list of DPS approved ranges as I have an opportunity to teach a class outside my normal haunt. I recall seeing it on the DPS site, but now cannot locate it. Im primarily interested in Bell County. Thanks!

Re: Deadly Force even if Attacker is in Retreat
he had spent two years awaiting trial on a first-degree murder charge. Maybe there's a detail I'm missing here, but I wonder what happened to this man's right to a "speedy" trial? They dont just sit in jail...most of the time is spent fighting by attorneys. Ive seen people at our jail go ...

Re: Just Say No To Serpa?
I had this same exact concern with my Serpa duty holster. I see no difference in managing the retention catches vs. something like the Safariland Lvl 3. As for the negligent discharges, again, the gun isnt going to go off unless someone puts their finger on the trigger. Practically everyone in my de...

Re: My first class
Well, everyone showed up that was supposed to including the two maybes...we had a good first class and I learned a lot about getting something like this organized. Of course, the class was not without its problems... First guy to show up owed me the other half of his fee ($40) and whipped out a $100...

Re: Have your own website? Stay away from JotForm
Welllllll.... apparently theres a limit on how many times JotForm allows you to use their forms without having a subscribed service (not mentioned on their site by the way) from them. On the FAQ page I see this FAQ. How much does JotForm cost? JotForm is completely free for Basic usage. You can cre...

Have your own website? Stay away from JotForm
Im computer literate and have done web development for a long time, but never bothered to learn how to do forms properly. I came across a site for creating your own custom forms called JotForm. Its a WYSIWYG editor designed to allow you to make your own forms and then incorporate them into your webs...

Re: Renewal vs. First time CHL
Guys - I am not intending to hijack your thread but I am curious about the renewal class. It seems to me that having renewal students show up at 1pm and sit in the rest of a first time class, is not what the renewal class should be. Am I off base? olepal Well, ideally you want the students to only ...
