Oops! You're right. I either mis-read the description or made a bad assumption. It's an "Answer" for a little over half of Tucker's price.NormalRandy wrote:Not true--the kydex only covers half of the gun, just like The Answer.barres wrote:Tucker's Answer has Kydex only on the outside of the holster. Tucker's Answer has Kydex only on the outside of the holster. The gun is against the leather on the inside. The MTAC completely encases the gun in Kydex. I imagine this would have to make the MTAC slightly quicker (leather drags more) but also slightly less flexible and a little thicker (by the thickness of the inside Kydex and molding clearances). I'm intrigued, especially at a price some $50 less than the Tucker and with Comp-Tac's excellent customer service standing behind it.

Comp-Tac is distributing them and is providing the kydex body for the holster, but the MTAC is officially "made" by Minotaur holsters. Looks like a good design that I will have to look into in the not-too-distant future. There are a couple of threads about this over on GlockTalk, and someone over there has one on order, so we might get a review soon.
