though this does bring about another issue.....

how long between approved and in hand? stuff gets from austin to pasa-deer park in 2 days via snail mail...but my mailbox didn't have any goodies in it today :headscratch

it was almost with morbid curiosity to wait and see how long the state might take sans legislative assistance..
wasn't TOO bad in retrospect...though i had a license and let it expire back in 05, i figured after such a detailed background check back then, it would only be (in theory) a check between now and the first issue.....in theory LOL

guess i can knock the dust off some of my more stealthy toys now

the state hit a homerun with me today...cleared the left field wall and into the cheap-seats....

application approved...and now for the federal branch to do THEIR part and deliver it..... :txflag:

application mailed 08 DEC 08...one hiccup along the way (forogt a copy of military ID, did send the commander's letter)
