OK, here is MY best advice on Glock matches.

Accuracy counts far more than speed. Missing a shot will cost you 10 seconds. So, slow down, aim carefully, and you will do better.

Also, bring extra mags. Mags always fail when you need them most!

And bring more ammo then you think you could possibly need. More is always better.

My very first match, I won a G26. Since then, not so fortunate. But, the chances are still there for you!

GSSF matches are generally well run, with lots of help for the newbies. Go prepared for a long day and lots of fun!
