My newest addition. #2 6.8 SPC:




First range report... last 5 shots at 50 yards out of 50 (part of break-in).



specs:

Texas Predator Posse Special Edition Spikes Tactical Lower w/ Geissele SSA Trigger, Magpul FG goodies (traded CTR for a UBR, not pictured)
Wilson Combat Upper receiver w/ 18" Stainless Steel Fluted 6.8SPC 1/11" twist/4Groove barrel, threaded for AAC Blackout 762SD Suppressor, Troy/VTAC Extreme 13" free float handguard and topped with Bushnell TrophyXLT DOA 3-9x40 scope.

Looking forward to resighting at 100 to verify loads.

One is black, the other is black and FDE.... both work well against piggies, and zombie eradication!

The FDE one, without a handguard in the picture is my 6.8SPC build I'm waiting on a Troy MDX Free Float to go over it, to match the .223.

Thanks for the info. I obviously jipped myself on mods for my Remmy 700 -- as mine is the .223, and hardly any of the mods for the 700 are for that small of a caliber. I looked while at work, and the access to the Badger site is restricted, but from what I can see on midway and US tactical supply, it's for the .308 and some of the magnum chamberings.

Appreciate the heads up on it. I'll have to suffer with the 5+1 round capacity in that ol' 223 for the time being. Oh well it'll still shoot!

My "black" guns. I've got my AR on order, go to pick up the beast next week hopefully.
XD-40 Compact (4in. Service, 12Rd), Remington Model 700 w/Heavy Barrel, .223/5.56NATO with 3-9x40 Remington Scope.

Looking for a good Scope around $350.00 for shooting with this rifle if anyone has any recommendations.
