Re: Road Rager Didn't Like Me Driving the Speed Limit

I'll post this because I PRACTICE this often. When you first noticed the person tail-gating you, did you immediately start looking for a turn off so that you could let him go? If you did not, then you are part of the negative equation. Just think how easy it would have been to simply pull off and le...

Re: Compliance official breaks into womans home

I don't know if anyone here remembers this but the BTK (Bind, torture, Kill) killer was a compliance officer. After he was caught, they verified that he had had similar encounters with people throughout his career. No one else mentioned this so I thought I would point this out. Maybe somebody should...

Re: Man takes poison in court after guilty verdict

And on the flip side, he saved the tax payers the cost of feeding, housing, furthering his education, dental bills, medical bills, etc; I can't imagine how he would have felt had he taken a pill (if that is what happened) and then his attorney turned to him and said "we've got this one beat on ...

Re: Houston Self Defense Trial

I agree with "guilty". He went outside looking for trouble, found trouble, got up in troubles face, provoked trouble, and then when trouble got prodded enough times it reacted, and Rodriguez could not wait to shoot someone. Oh wait, could not wait to shoot THREE people. This guy needs to g...

Re: Woman beaten inside her car at McDonald's drive thru

If the tide has turned, along with the subject, and we are talking about who has the best burger, put me down for Pappa's Bar-B-Q. If you have not tried one of their burgers yet, please do so. I find them to be the juiciest, heaviest (doubles) burgers with the freshest vegetables. Can't say I've eve...

Re: Woman beaten inside her car at McDonald's drive thru

Also, had she drawn a weapon for defense, she could have always stated "disparity of force" as there were 3 active parties assaulting her in various forms/stages. I think we all missed the boat on this one.. A person who has eaten at the same McD's, every day for FIVE years.. Well, she is ...

Re: Not good

Somebody give officer Berchtold some more ammo quickly while he is on a streak. That guy is saving his county thousands-if not millions-of dollars by avoiding incarceration and associated court costs to include the appeals process.

Re: in case you needed another reason to ALWAYS carry...

A couple of things stand out about this shooting; 1. The guy was part of the volunteer neighborhood crime watch. 2. He was watering his yard at 3AM. 3. He is in one of the worst, if not the worst, areas of Houston. Due to #1, it could be that he reported someone for something and this was revenge fo...

Re: Teen robber killed by homeowner in Ft Worth

I think the guy that shot him should SUE the mother of the child. Who else could possibly be responsible for the sons death other than her???? She had his entire life to raise him right, and to instill in him those qualities that would have kept him on the right path. It is unfortunate that the home...

Re: Houston uses web site for anonymous crime tips

Well, I took a chance and tried the web site.. I have HPD in front of my house right now. Total time between my posting and the cops arriving -about 15 minutes. Long story short, our neighbors sons have been dealing out of their house for several years. The rest of our neighbors are all elderly and ...

Re: West Texas Rancher Shoots Trespassers

I'd like to hear the ranchers side of the story at this point. And who here has ever decided that they wanted to go look at property to buy and trespassed on anothers property while doing so? I know when I was looking for property I did not do any "scouting" as the trespassers alluded to. ...
