Ok, I read on a post here that the "counting" begins when DPS enters your app into the system, which is usually indicated by DPS issuing a letter with a PIN number.
My timeline doesn't work with this.
First, I received my renewal package back in sometime before October. For various reasons, I put off getting things rolling. I actually received my PIN number letter October 7. Up until this point, I still have not taken my renewal class. Then, on November 6, I receive another letter with my PIN number again. Still--have not taken the class. Now, we are into the holidays and even more crap to deal with. February 7, I take my renewal class then mail everything off to DPS and they receive it February 10.
So, in my case, I would assume that my 60 day period should start February 10th and not the day a PIN is issued which would be November 6th or October 7th.
Either my plastic is really late, or I should have it by next week......
