I did talk to the manager at the one in Medical center and she had no interest in removing the sign.

letter to local bank
My bank is posted 30.06 and I had consided sending them an e-mail... what do ya'll think?
Good afternoon I hope this letter reaches you well. I am writing you today to share my feelings about the signs your banks have posted n the front door of it's various branches. The signs I'm concerned about are the 30.06 signs that make it illegal for people with a concealed carry permit to enter the bank with their concealed weapon. These individuals have under gone a very aggressive back ground check and passed a state required course which that person had to attend for at least eight hours. Most concealed carry permit holders are honest trustworthy citizens that wouldn't think of breaking any laws or doing anything that may harm other people. They simply would like to protect them self’s and their family against criminals who don't care what laws they break or who they hurt to get what they want. With the rise in bank robberies along I-35 between San Antonio and Austin along with various other bank robberies in the city limits of San Antonio I personal would feel safer knowing that honest people licensed to carry were doing business at my bank if something did happen.
I personally have been banking with your bank for a long time, I don’t even know how long. I also have a concealed carry permit, I have found myself having to use the drive thru more often due to the signs on the front door and I used to enjoy coming inside and saying hi to everyone that works at your bank. United SA FCU has some of the nicest employees out of all the banks I’ve been in, some even remember my name when I do come in! Since I do have a concealed carry permit and I know a lot of other people that do, I’m also a member of a few message broads that discuss concealed carry and the legal places to carry. Like I stated above a concealed carry permit holder tries their best not to break any laws and therefore they prefer to do business where their permits are allowed. I have included a link at the bottom of this e-mail which shows what other people are saying about your policy to not allow CCW.

Hopefully this e-mail as helped to open your mind a little more about concealed carry. I will continue to do my banking through the drive-thru and disarm when I need to come inside. Please do not take this letter the wrong way; again I just want to bring to your attention that some people are passing up your bank do to this policy and you truly do have a great bank with wonderful employees.
