I have no personal experience with them, but I just finished reading several evaluations...and they seem to do pretty well.
Now, if this was a "Jennings" we were talking about..........
Send it back, see if they can get it running for you. Heck, my P-13 wasn't worth a flip when I first got it either.

You'll send it in, they'll redo the feed ramp (which seems to be the popular cure for feed problems), and you'll shoot off thousands and thousands of rounds without a problem. The warranty is absolute, 100%. If they made it and it broke, they'll fix it for free.
So, are you saying you don't like Hi-Points?
