I have a serious problem with my diabetes and was told to avoid fruit. I learned after a few years (first of all God's first food group was fruit in the Garden of Eden ) that we need fruit.
I do not know the calories because I do not worry about calories. I eat everything berries in moderation. A lot of blueberries because they are one of the super foods. Strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries. I do eat oranges and apples although not many because they do effect my glucose readings.
I sure hope that this thread goes right on through 2013. I have so far to go and this actually encourages me.
TAM (The Annoyed Man) has invited me to go with him to his church they have a little get together that is a big encouragement, but it seems every time I decide I can go something happens. I am going to make that happen soon. I would enjoy setting and listening to other to learn new and improve ways of doing eating healthy.
