I have to now change my earlier vote. I was finally forced to make a transition, but it was a slow one. I have always carried a J Frame in my pocket. The last three years it has been a S&W 340PD. Now I have the 340PD and a S&W 642 or S&W 66 2 1/2 inch on the belt.

I should shoot my friend who traded me a HK P7 PSP. I went and traded some other pistols and I now have a P7 M13. I think they are the greatest. Just my opinion.

There is nothing wrong with that. I also carry a revolver. I carry a 340PD in the pocket everyday. I just changed from my 1911 to a HK P7M13 on my belt. Sunday's I usually carry just the S&W with a speed strip. I don't think the wheel gun gets the respect it deserves.

I find I can conceal the 1911 better. Those of you who agree, do you think it is because on a whole it is thinner? I love the feeling of the 340PD in the pocket and Colt Commander on the Belt. To me that is Security.

Revolver Vs. Semi Auto And Why?

I have always been curious and I hope this is not improper or has already been asked and I missed it. I would like to know if you prefer to carry a Revolver or Semi Auto and why? I believe it would be interesting to see the results.
