I read it that way also. When someone says 'charge', I relate that to a percussion or flintlock pistol.

many don't agree with your synopsis. To each their own.
I don't agree!! Anyone not carrying one in the chamber has the wrong handgun and should replace with one that he is comfortable with.

There is no circumstance where an empty chamber in a semi-auto is justified.
